Outreach Activities
The Men's League is called to assist with many programs of the church, including the Mardi Gras fundraiser, the annual
church picnic, coffee hours, 4th of July celebration, etc. Recently its major outreach fundraiser has been to finance and
manage the sale of Christmas Trees from a lot near the church. Funds from this event sustain giving substantial gifts to a
number of worthy charities outside of the church each year.
Service Opportunities
Men of the League are encouraged to explore opportunities to serve both inside and outside the church. Besides the annual
tree farm and other events above, men are involved in supporting the church services in various roles, leading discussions,
teaching classes, supporting Diocese outreach programs such as the annual Charity Walk led by the Bishop, and exploring
service opportunities with charities in the community as well as abroad.
